We had a really great experience here on 06/21/25. Our total wait time to get into a room was less than 20 minutes (I checked the wait times online first). My son was checked in by a friendly clerk (unfortunately, I don't remember her name). Cassandra called him in, and she was one of the friendliest medical assistants I've ever met. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I visited the University of Health Sparrow urgent care just once, and now I’m being threatened to be sent to collections over a $175 bill for services I did not consent to. I went in for a basic examination, but somehow over five different tests were billed to my insurance — none of which I agreed to. I have only seen Karrie Thomas once, and that was during this visit. I’ve used this urgent care for myself and my children and all times have been pleasant. Being sick isn’t but staff are pleasant and listen to you. They are empathetic and sympathetic, while tending to our needs and helping diagnose the problem. It’s been an unusually sick winter for our family, but using the online checkin has made it a smoother experience.

I've been here multiple times in the last 6 months. The wait is always over 2 hours even when just 3rd in line. I do the make an appt online option, then check in online, also check in at the kiosk. Then Sat Down. Just to wait 2.5 hours. I was then first in line, taking off the list, cuz I was told I didn't check in at the front desk. Every other Sparrow urgent care has you take a seat and be called up. Constantly workers are not at the window as they walk away for 10-15 minutes at a time. As well call people not in order. Went here for pneumonia symptoms, the check in device told me to see someone up front I sat in a chair at the front desk for close to 40minutes before someone walked up from the back then began to berate me for sitting there waiting (which their own device told me to do) and tried to argue with me that I should go to the ER… after I refused she opened the window and yelled to the rest of the people in the waiting room “IF YOU ARE SIGNING IN AND PUTTING IN SYMPTOMS THAT REQUESTS YOU COME UP HERE, GO TO THE ER, DONT WASTE MY T... read more
