Tasty Pizza – Great spot to pick up pizza to go. Call ahead and they will have it ready. Flavorful sauce and freshly made. Much better than any of the chains. Only wish they would deliver!!!
Yummy pizza! – Their pizza is excellent, and it's cheap! I just really wish they would deliver! Big thumbs up from the whole family!
Great pizza. – I think Sparky's is the only really good, east coast style pizza in Portland. The crust is kind of western New York styled, not super thin, crispy on the outside, kind of doughy in the middle. Good proportion of topping to sauce to cheese, not too expensive or nouveau. Their chicken aren't any good though. You still can't get good wings here. Alas.
Hand Tossed Pizza--Can't Beat It – Great Pizza!!! They advertise as 'New York Pizza' which I might dispute but it is definitely the best pizza I've tasted in Portland. Hand tossed and you can get 2 larges with breadsticks and pop for $20! Friendly and cute staff make the 15 minute wait pass buy without thought...cant wait to go home and pig out on these breadstix!
Mmmmmm so good – Sparky's has great pizza at a great price. My boyfriend and I have become fond of the "Margahretta." Its got mozerella cheese, roma tomatoes and basil with handmade mozerella on top. It just tastes so fresh! The crust is nice and doughy too. I would recommend calling in your order first. My boyfriend and I ordered inside once and the counterperson forgot to give us our pizza. It had been sitting out for over 15 minutes before another staff person realized. My only complaint is that they do not deliver!
Best pizza in ne/no po! – I have lived in NE Portland for over 15 years and Sparkys has some of the best pizza in the area. We have often ordered from them for parties at work as well as for parties at home and every time the pizza is amazing. The staff is super friendly, and the building has a lot of cool pictures. Get the Garlic Parmesan bread sticks, they are probably some of the best bread sticks ever!
Awesome, affordable take-out pizza – Sparky's pizza is fantastic - probably my favorite in Portland. They are also fast, very reasonably priced and have great specials. Hard to beat a GOOD pizza, bread sticks and a 2-liter for $14. Not much of a dine-in experience but great for take-out. No delivery.
