This venue is awesome! Grounds are beautiful with lots of mature plans and trees. The owner is so helpful and kind. There are lots of special touches that make this place so sweet! Go grateful for the blessing of this place and it's owner!

This B&B is well situated. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights recently, and we had a very pleasant experience. Valerie welcomed us with a glass of wine and gave us a tour of the place the first day. The house is nicely decorated and has a nice ambience. Our room was clean with plenty of towels. We had privacy. Her husband, Ron also was very gracious and made us a hearty biscuit and gravy breakfast on our last day. The dogs, Big Boy and Sophie were friendly too.

On our family vacation to yosemite we decided to see more of the gold country. A Sonora local recommended Sparks ranch as the " nicest place to stay within 100 miles". Entering the property and driving up the gravel road we all began to see how peaceful and beautiful the place really is. My husband and I have driven past this place on the way to Black Oak Casino at least a hundred times and wondered about it. We looked it up on the internet and thought we would give it a try. The owner, Valerie, was extremely accommodating and allowed us to come up on a Sunday night. When we made the reservation, we were not aware of the type of place we were going to. I have experienced better – This is for travelling nurses, I stayed at this place in December 2010 in the execitive suite and this woman refused to give me back my deposit after i moved out she stated that i had used alot of heating (propane) while she had her thermostat preset and cannot be changed above 72. She was rude and nasty to me after i moved out. I was freezing in that little place and my friend confirmed it.
