My husband went here and we paid out of pocket. They gave us a "Good Samaritan" estimate of just over $300 for an appointment and an xray of my husband's heel. They took the xray, Dr. Mortensen came to the room and told him he had a heel spur and it would cost $20,000-$30,000 to fix it and it would never go away until he had surgery. He then proceeded to tell me about products I could purchase on Amazon to help relieve pressure. He said he wanted to see him again in 2 months. For what? Dr Bird was awesome with my wife, very kind and professional... Was gentle and explained everything. She was very pleased with him and the service and relief he provided. Said she felt no pain during the process and was comfortable. Highly recommend him.
Dr Bird is everything one could want in a physician with a wonderful bedside manner: professional, yet also warm, kind, and personable. He takes his time with his patients, really listens to you, and clearly explains things in language you can understand. He also has a gentle touch. I just had one of my big toenails completely removed and barely felt the three numbing shots. It wasn't a "fun" procedure, but Dr Bird made it as comfortable as possible.
