Additional note to "Team Spark" I have spent the past month trying to get Hilton Support to confirm the Hotel's closure and to initiate a refund. I've used both the online chat and the support phone number. The local phone number has been disconnected for most of the last month. Support has been unwilling to investigate, they did not receive notification that the Hotel was closed. Total lack of communication by Hilton, they have lost us as a customer. Very disappointing experience with Spark by Hilton. We had a reservation that was booked in advance for race week, when rooms in the area were going for around $400 a night. We were fortunate to have secured a much lower rate when we originally booked. The hotel ultimately canceled our reservation because of power issues. I completely understand that power problems can happen and that safety has to come first. However, the timing was extremely frustrating. Team Spark, It's now been exactly one month since we arrived to find out that the Hotel had been closed for several days. No notice, no sorry, no let's get you booked at another Hilton property. Basically we were told we're closed have a nice day. We're still waiting for a refund, Expedia told us this is on Hilton to initiate a refund. I see that "Team Spark" is very good at posting "mea culpa" but they haven't lifted a finger to help people get a refund. Confirmation date of stay 6-16-2026. Dates to stay 8-14 through 8-18-26. Received cancellation of my room 8-9-2026 when they knew they were closed down from 7-26-26 through 8-17-26 for repairs. 5 days to get another room, unbelievable. Vacation canceled.

Ruined my kids birthday. Apparently they had a structure fire. I booked my hotel weeks ago. Early July, a few days after the fire. They still allowed me to keep my booking until August 2nd then cancelled it on me. (I was not aware of any fire) 4 days before my kids birthday and I’m scrambling as a single mother now with INCREDIBLY high last minute hotel rates.
