Hotel & rooms have been renovated very cheap. When entering the room it was clean with new carpet & furniture. The sink in the bathroom looked good, BUT the bathtub had the finish peeling off(see photo). Obviously, the hotel knew this as a shower mat was available to use. The renovation should have removed the tub & made a stand up shower.
This hotel has very thin Windows allowing all traffic noise to enter and not allow any sleep. We purchased 2 days and only state one and they would not refund the second day. Very disappointed.
Wet nice rooms. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great! The beds were comfy and the area felt safe
The property appeared cleaned and well kept! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was extremely hot initially and took a more than a few hours to cool.The beds and sheets appeared clean. The bathroom had some things covered with fresh paint. (ie: tub and around door handle) It didn’t prevent usage. Coffee at night had coffee grinds in it. I loved the setup for the coffee/tea station. Driving from STL to Galveston for a cruise and decided to stay here for the night. Holly at check in was amazing. Beds were very comfy. AC was nice. We loved the ceiling fan in the hotel room. I've never seen that before. The AC was loud but it was like a white noise so we didn't mind it. Pool was cold but nice. Area felt safe. Parking lot felt safe. Breakfast wasnt the best but we are just used to pancakes or waffles so to not have that option was a slight ding. Coffee is folgers and was good. We would absolutely stay here ... read more
