Had reservations for 6 months but when we arrived there was a fence around the hotel due to a fire that occurred over a month prior to our arrival. No email or call to inform us they were closed. I realize the fire/explosion was not their fault but they could at least notify future guest that they were closed. Hilton, you are slipping!!!
We would have shown up for our reservation beginning April 23rd-27th to a closed hotel. We weren’t notified of the closure of the hotel due to explosion on February. 24th. We only found out on March 31st when we looked at their website for directions to the hotel. Website stated all booked reservation holders would be notified….we were not nor was another family member with a reservation for those days. Hilton, when notified, did not act as though they were aware and only asked if we wanted to cancel our reservation. Really ... read more
