the owner is a jerk the owner is a loud, obnoxious, ogre of a man. he was verry agressive towords me when he found out i was looking for warhammer miniatures. he told me that that gw sucks, and that nobody plays warhammer or tabletop games. he continues to bombard me with a multitude of reasons why my hobby isnt good and that i was not welcome in his shop. he quite literaly told me that i product i was looking for sucks. after all the negative things he had to say, he did infact have a pathetic selection tabletop miniatures ... read more
Small Store, Big Selection I used to go here constantly, when I lived in the area. It was a great store to be close to. I was primarily a roleplayer/cardplayer/wargamer, and much of the stock was focused on more 'traditional' hobbies, such as modelling and R/C vehicles. Despite that, their selection of RPG materials and trading cards was very good, and the staff was always very happy to help, and special orders weren't a problem.
Best Hobby Store in Mass This is my favorite hobby store by far because it has the best selection of models in the Northeast. It is jammed packed with a large variety. You can find almost any hobby item you are looking for and if not, the owner will special order it for you. If you are looking for special types of hobby paints for painting models, they have a good variety.
Excellent Hobby Store if you build models My husband has been going to this store for over 25 years. He is an avid model builder (mostly war planes and tanks) and finds this store the best for selection. The owner is usually there and can special order items if there is something specific you are looking for. They also have a great selection of magazines and paints.
