A week or so before Christmas my dad purchased a $30 gift card for my mother from Spanky's. When she used it in January, for the first time, there was only $6 on it. My dad took the gift card, receipt, and his bank statement in to the car wash. They looked up the card history and it showed that the card had been used a couple of days after the card was purchased.
