They've expanded since I visited 12 years ago on my first trip to Lubbock. Still as fantastic as ever! Wreck Em.
Fried cheese was unreal! Burger and fries were good too! They were short staffed so it took a long time but that's not their fault. We will definitely be back!
The Monte Cristo was the best and the fried zucchini - delish!!
I have LOVED Spankys since I was in Lubbock for college in the 80's! We still eat there every time we're in town, now that my son is at Texas Tech!!
The food is wonderful. Love the fried cheese and fried pickles. Always a great place to grab a burger.
BOMB FOOD The bartender suggested the Texas Ruben so I got that on Texas toast and it was BOMB!!!
We used to love this place. My daughter always gets chicken strips. The staff acted like it was a real imposition we were even here tonight. Her chicken was burned. I'll try to share picture s. I asked for new checked strips. They were taken back without a waited. A different woman came out (we were here on her first day, actually) Ang she seafood they would remake them but they would look exactly the same because they are sugar to the batter that's why they are dark. Cool spot to hang out and throw a few back. Unique atmospheres both upstairs and downstairs. Be sure to sign your name somewhere, and obviously try the cheese sticks! You won't regret it �🖒
