Fried Cheese!! If you're looking for some good comfort food, look no further. This place has everything you SHOULDN'T eat. A great place to go after a game since it's right across the street from the Raiders stadium. You HAVE to get the fried cheese (made from scratch)! The burgers are outstanding, but you really can't go wrong no matter what you order. This place is a little cramped so if you have a lot of people, you need to get there in plenty of time to round up enough tables. Prices are average.
Spanky's Spanky's has some of the coldest beer in town, but I like to come here for the cheese sticks! These things are HUGE! It's like getting blocks of fried cheese on your plate - definitely need to order these when you go!
Wonderful cheese stick! The main reason to go to Spanky's is the cheese sticks! They are the best ever. If you are wanting to sit and visit, the wait for a table may be quite long. Price is reasonable. It is a must eat place for anyone at Tech!
great burgers and fried cheese my favorite place to go for a burger and fried cheese... love sitting on the outdoor balcony on a nice, warm day. Their prices are great too... not too expensive...
RecommendedIn Lubbock for a regional dive meet. These guys handled a group of 40-50 adults and kids like pros. We ordered and we all had our food within 15 minutes. All of our orders were correct and the food tasted great.
I did not like the fried zucchini that I ordered. Fried foods are not supposed to be squishy which is exactly what I received. The batter does not seem to be fried completely. Most of my zucchini’s seem undercooked.
Holy cow I ate too much! But it was so hard to stop...! He man woman hater was so good. and the fried cheese amazing!!

First time here...had to get the fried cheese! Glad I only ordered the small order. They are HUGE! Fries were AMAZING and Mushroom Swiss chicken was delish.
