I own a unit at Spanish Towers. We self manage and take care of our unit and tenants. As one reviewer stated- you need to make sure you are renting from a good landlord here. We do have a new Management Company for the HOA. The company is working hard to get things back to where they were before our prior management. So make your own decisions when looking at a unit here. It is across the street from CU. Some of the units are better than others since they individually owned. This would include pest problems.
Please avoid Spanish Towers unless you like cockroaches as roommates. My CU student lived in Spanish Towers, 805 29th St, Unit #252 Spring 2025. Starting in March, she and her roommate experienced an infestation of roaches. They made their management company, Boulder Property Management (BPM), aware and the first of four professional treatments over five months occurred shortly after notification. I like this place because it was in The Shining. You kind of need to squint, but during the establishing shot of the parking lot of the apartment the Torrance family lives in, it’s the top right of frame. It’s lousy with college kids, and the pool has been closed for what feels like a century.
Horrible toxic building. Not safe to live in. Mold and other problems. Will potentially make you chronically sick if you live here. Housing like this should be illegal. Owners should be forced to do mold remediation and fix other issues. Very very toxic. Do not live here. Many other healthy buildings in town
