I overheard staff openly making prejudiced comments about students. That is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and discriminatory—especially in a healthcare setting that is supposed to support learning and care for vulnerable people. I was there about 5 days in September of this year. Most of the employees are good. It’s like any workplace. You’re going to have some employees that don’t follow the rules. Those employees are Not going to change. They like that kind of life. I am so Grateful to the staff of Spanish Meadows for the excellent care they provided my mom. They were friendly, polite and very attentive of all my mom’s needs. The Director of Nursing Joe and Nurse Alicia answered all our questions with respect and a positive attitude they were so helpful. Their professionalism and knowledge was evident. I cannot recommend Spanish Meadows highly enough, they will go above and beyond to make sure their residents will feel right at home.
