Do to improper monitoring of my mother’s bowels movements, she became impacted and had to go to the hospital. This caused bleeding in her intestines which led to transfusions. After being released back to rehab as certified by hospitalist, Spang Creat would not re-admit it her. We paid thousands to hold our mother’s room and had to let it go before she was ready to return. When approached to re-admit her, although room was available, they would not take her. The reason they gave was that my mother should go to hospice care! ... read more

Therapy was awesome.... Nurses almost always were supurb... Food was good sometimes a bit salty and not hot enough but on the whole great....

While the nurses make this a great place for residents, the administration chases good nurses out with their mind blowing incompetence and extremely selfish behavior. So any nurses looking for a job should look anywhere but here, unless you like being mistreated and belittled on a regular basis.

My mother recent;y came home From Spang Crest and we cannot thank everyone enough for the wonderful care she received during her rehab. She was on the 1st floor, shout out to aides, nurses, dietary staff, PT Beth & Kyle and Jesse. If I missed anyone so sorry. I will definitely refer Spang Crest in the future for short term rehab.
