4 hours late to the job. Lied about why they “forgot” to schedule us. Then charged $400 more than the quote. Mitchell Newby stopped by my house during the move and avoided me the whole time.... no apology. Somehow the 5% discount was suppose to fix it. Do Not take the Risk. Even if someone else costs more.

we never lied about anything, i accidently put you on the wrong day, I'm sorry about that and people do make mistakes but I got my guys out to you as quickly as possible. I didn't avoid you i was simply there to drop off some shrink wrap and then leave, i didn't know I was supposed to come talk to you... the prices aren't fixed so if it was more, that's what you wanted to have done. your job cost 400$more because you lied to me about how much stuff you wanted to move, you control how much you want to pay, you could have not ... read more
The first time they moved me was 2015. They quoted five hours and 400-500 dollars. They did exactly that. But wait: The second time they moved me was 2019. I didn’t have any extra stuff and in fact had less stuff. They said 5 hours 600 dollars. Fine. I understand inflation. But this time they took full advantage : they were an hour late, and moved at snails pace which ended in 10 hours and 1400 dollars. There was nothing different in my second move. We are under new management as of March of this year and you will never have a move like that again if you choose to use again in the future. I know saying this doesn't fix the horrible experience you had but I hope you can give the new us a second chance or at least dissolve the animosity between us. My husband and I had a great first experience with Space Age, as they helped us move out extra stuff from our home so that it could be staged and sold. Last week we hired them to move us out of our old home and into our new home. What was estimated as a 4 hour job took over 8 hours. We experienced inefficiency from the movers, and dishonesty about time frame and an ill worker.
