I came through the doors of SPA on August 19th, 2021. I came to continue my healing journey in Jesus. The SPA is giving me the opportunity to do just that while being surrounded by some of the most amazing women I know. I gave SPA 5 stars not because it is perfect but because these dedicated women give of their time, talents, experiences, and share the love of Jesus with us girls. The SPA changed my life and was a "safe haven" when I hit my rock-bottom. I learned to set healthy boundaries and found self-worth rather then seeking value from toxic relationships. The program was exactly what I needed, and I continue to volunteer and stay connected there. The SPA is family to me now and I love them so much!
The SPA has completely changed my life. If I hadn't come to SPA- I was the fast track to prison or worse!! The staff at SPA spoke into my life and showed me Jesus first-hand! They are literally being the hands and feet of Jesus! I entered the program in March of 2018- graduating in March of 2019 and I continually walk out what I learned being there. I am so saddened by the review left by Carvetta Barnes. I have been involved with the SPA for four years and have seen lives changed and healing take place. My life has been changed. Here is the KEY though to that happening. When entering any rehab a client has to admit they need help. They also have to see the codependent relationships in their lives and be willing to make new boundaries. Also, very important is the client has to lose their "I am a victim" mentality.
