I wish I had read some of these reviews prior to booking a massage here. I am an avid massage goer and I will not ever book at Spa Minerale again. I wouldn't even call it a massage. It was essentially just a rubdown with lotion/oil. I had expressed at the start of the massage to the masseuse that my area of concern is my neck and shoulders and asked if she can use a little more pressure in those areas to help relieve the tension to which she immediately said that would be "deep tissue" and an extra charge. Not what it once was. To start with the good, I love the extra amenities like the bathrobes, and drinks to enjoy throughout your day. However, after going here for three years, it seems that the quality of service has decreased and I won't be returning. During my latest visit, I had a pedicure and message. The pedicurists was rushing so much that I had to ask her to redo something three times. Likewise, my masseuse didn't budget their time well and seemed scattered. I recently enjoyed a spa day at Lansdowne Spa with a girlfriend, and it was exactly the reset I needed. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing from the moment you arrive. We were provided robes and slippers and spent time enjoying the jacuzzi, steam room, and quiet room after our services. I called to ask if they have appointments for today. They said yes at 5. We booked a couple massage session. Arrived 7 mins late but no one said anything so we entered the room to do the message we started at 5:15 and finished at 5:51. So we didn’t spend 50 mins for sure. And then the massage lady said next time come earlier so you can use the facilities(jacuzzi,sauna..etc) Which no one told that this is included in our price. Our 50 minutes massage was only 30. Definitely worth $400 for couples. I asked the masseuse to focus on my lower back which wasn’t even touched and my neck which had a 30 second massage. minutes.so disappointed.
