I have been to Spa Habitat twice for massage and facials, and although is a little pricey, I think it's worth it once in a while. I am just a little worried about booking an appointment for my anniversary on April. I have read reviews about bad experiences and staff being racist! My husband and I are Mexican, and we wouldn't feel like celebrating after having a bad experience. This will be our 10th year anniversary, we want to relax and have a great time. I see the owner replies to some reviews, I hope he/she could assure me... read more
Going to this spa was literally a nightmare experience. Brianna is a terrible esthetician. It was the worst facial of my life. It is now over 2 months since I had the facial with her that caused scarring on my skin. Her extractions are hard and aggressive to the point it scarred my skin. The scars can’t even be covered with makeup. This spa is unclean and unsanitary. Brianna massaged my hair then massaged my face while my pores were open after a warm compress. This caused an infection underneath my skin. She never washed her... read more
Going Down Hill... – I have been going to Spa Habitat since 2009. I've been to both the Uptown and Plano locations. I can say this about their services: Organic back therapy: so-so, not the best massage, the pampering part was great Flower Power Facial: Typical Ultrasonic Facial: Amazing, out of this world, does wonders for my skin! Bikini Wax: Painful Annie is by far the best at facials. She offered great advice and seemed genuinely concerned about helping me look my best. And yes, they do push products on you. However, if ... read more
Spa Habitat – I went to spa habitat for Mother's Day, and took my mom and sister along with me for a spa day. It turned out to be a big disappointment. I read the reviews of people's experience at spa habitat and thought this must be a great spa. We arrived about thirty minutes before our appointment time and was greeted with a smile and a warm neck pillow, however we went to set and fill out paperwork and staff was running around like they were overwhelmed and one of them had a really nasty attitude. It was hard to relax, t... read more
unfriendly people, painful massage – I found Spa Habitat through Spa Finder after receiving Spa Finder gift certificates from friends. I loved the idea of things being "natural". I scheduled a massage at the location in Dallas and called to ask for directions after parking. The receptionist sounded annoyed. She maintained this attitude of annoyance with me when I arrived (on time). I have never had a unpleasant massage before going to Spa Habitat, but the massage I got there was PAINFUL, and the girl who gave it to me was as... read more

I am a guy that is 50! – by Craig L 10/18/2008 I'm a guy in my 50's and had my first facial ever here at Spa Habitat! This was simply an incredible experience. Every guy ought to get here fast!
Editorial Review – spa habitat delivers relaxing spa services such as massage therapy and body scrubs out of Uptown Dallas.
Ridiculously Overpriced! – I have been to several day spas in the collin county area and this is one of the most expensive places in the metroplex. The massages are overpriced and they are no better than any other day spa. If you are on a budget then this is not the place to go.
Business response:
This person recently posted a positive review for one spa, and negative reviews for four other spas in Collin County. This is clearly a fake review from the competition in an attempt to get our star rating down, and we will have it removed.
Spa Habitat has a 4.6 star rating with 129 reviews.
Spa Habitat is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
