I love this hotel! I've lived in SD for 21 years and I visit the hotel del every week. It never gets old! It's a beautiful & historical piece that serves as just one element that makes San Diego so special!!

Really a beautiful and historic place, truly exceptional staff made my stay there this past week one of the nicest places I have ever been.
This is always been on my bucket list to stay here
Although all we did was have breakfast beachside I can honestly say I am looking forward to a future stay. Breakfast was awesome, the atmosphere is incredible.
It's a different experience. The hotel itself didn't impress me that much, maybe because it's a 130 year old hotel and they didn't change the way it was. But I had a great time enjoying the beach part of it. Especially the view from our room.
Couldn't find a lovelier place to stay! People are special, and the service here is first rate. Good restaurants, long uncluttered beach, and great restaurants. Wonderful weekend. The pool is clean and huge. Relaxed and going home today. Wish I could stay!
