Time to add my scam story.....same as everyone else before me....parked in this garage...had just the hardest time trying to get their crappy website to work and actually take my payment....got an email saying I paid....left about 30 minutes past the initial free 2 hours which I assumed they would just charge me for the extra 30 minutes but no....they send you a threatening letting in the mail expecting you to pay $102 fee for leaving late....how in the world are they allowed to do this and stay in business.
Still dealing with them trying to charge me $80+ dollars for parking I absolutely paid for.
Austin parking gets a bad reputation because of absurd fines like these. I paid the parking fee and was still fined $55, around double what the cost to park was, by mail because I paid it late (even though payment was still before I left the parking garage and I've never experienced this kind of payment system before)
If only I had looked at the reviews first :( same thing- parked here to dine at Il Brutto, tried to find a way to extend parking when I realized we were going over time but COULDNT, $102 fine in the mail. What a racket.
I just got scammed as well. Dined nearby, was directed to park in this lot, overstayed the 2 hours free by a few minutes and got hit with a $92 late fee that came in the mail today. Unfortunately, I was using a rental car and I fear the rental company has already paid it. Do not under any circumstances park here.
