Don't park here unless you're in the mood for the world's worst escape room. The exit doors broke while we were parked and trapped a full garage inside. After calling the "emergency" phone number posted, the management company helpfully told us they were "escalating the case" and we would get a reply by email within 24 hours! We had to call 911 to break us out. They won't even give me a refund for the extra hours we were trapped! Absolute madness.
I was locked in the garage for almost an hour. They never came to get us out. Another man parked there figured out how to manually fix it if he held it down. The people still in there will still be trapped because they refused to come let anyone out. They even refuse to refund anyone's money. Please do not do any business with this company.
They locked us in and refused to come and get us out. They just kept hanging up. They refused to give us our money back and charged us for the time they illegally held us in there. Do no park here.
This used to be my go-to parking spot for evenings in West Loop/Fulton Market. I typically book ahead via ParkWhiz and did so again yesterday. You used to be able to scan your parking app QR code to get back into the building, but now you have to create an account through another app, Metropolis, to get back in. It ended up working out, but it was definitely an unexpected curveball at the end of the night. It’s still a good place to park, but it may be a good idea to just directly book through Metropolis.
BEWARE! I booked this parking spot through ParkWhiz as I always did. I paid through an app. Getting in - easy. Getting in to get into the car back and getting out - NIGHTMARE. Ok, fine. Two months later I am still receiving notices to pay them additional $70! because they do not see charge on ParkWhiz. It was my top spot for parking in Fulton Market area but I will never ever park there again.
