SP Automobiles was recommended to me by a friend in Wangaratta which was good to know as I was travelling thru the area. I was not disappointed with the work, price and honesty. They were very busy and still managed to fit me in to get me back on the road.
I was on my way to Wagga Wagga from Melbourne to see my son graduate from his army training at Kapooka. I stopped at the BP Glenrowan and stupidly put unleaded in my diesel Ute. BTW, thanks BP for making your diesel and your unleaded pumps exactly the same color and putting them next to each other……. I’ve had 5yrs worth of routine services, and I’ve never been disappointed. They’re also helpful for providing trustworthy local recommendations on where to attend for other services that they don’t provide ie; wheel alignment, air con re-gasing. Had a car break down just after passing Wangaratta on a long weekend. It was an absolutely flat out weekend of break downs for Ben and his team, but they managed to find a spare moment to get my car safely towed to their workshop and Ben didn't stop for the day until he made sure that I had everything that I needed in order to get me back on track with my travels. We broke down between Glenrowan and Wangaratta. Sam attended the scene. He quickly ran diagnostics, got us to a safer place and then escorted us into Wangaratta. He quickly sourced spare parts and repaired the vehicle at a reasonable cost. He made sure that I knew what was happening and why at every stage.
