This was my first stay in South Yarra during a visit to Melbourne. The location was a winner. Everything within walking distance, restaurants, food shopping, gyms, bottle shops and retail outlets. The accommodation is a funky vibe of 50's meets new urban cool, with the apartments spacious, bright, with wall murals and very clean. The amenities were well stocked and of superior quality. I am absolutely devastated to be leaving my first ever one star review. After staying here I realised that I had left my favourite designer t shirt behind. I am absolutely certain it was left in the bedroom and know exactly where it was. I have photos of myself wearing it in the room before checking out. I called and emailed staff who told me they would check with their cleaners, laundry staff etc but never got back to me. Perfect spot for discovering Melbourne, cute apartment, clean, well decorated, and staff were attentive, we stay here because of our dogs too as it’s perfect for them as well. When there was an issue with another guest the owners were great, very professional and quick to resolve things as best they could. Highly recommend, we are frequent flyers here.
We booked 2 rooms for our family to stay at SoYa and were not disappointed. We were blown away by the incredible service from the personal text to check our arrival time and any additional needs for our family to being helped with all of our luggage at check in and then, without being asked, we were offered super late check out to accomodate us and our young children before we flew home.
