I cannot believe I'm having to write a review about this but I'm hoping this will help others advocate for themselves, also to educate physicians to listen to their patients. We might not always be right maybe look into their symptoms more or take the chance to listen think outside the box. My story, I have a family and a full time job. Over 2 years ago I went to the ER due to neurological symptoms with a history of Epilepsy. I drove 3 hours to see her for medication for seizures. She denied my request before we even had a discussion. She denied I even had seizures because none of the physicians had seen me have one! What! My husband observes them and was with me at the appointment. Instead she suggested I was or had been abused or traumatized...OMG isn't that typical.
