An excellent place on the edge of downtown; it's about a block up from the Thomas Wolfe House and makes an excellent combination with the tour and museum there. I'm glad I found the place. The food is delicious and the selections are prepared and presented delightfully. The bar is amazing, going all the way to the ceiling and they are known as a premier cocktail place in Asheville. Sovereign Remedies is definitely on my list for "must visit" when in Asheville.
I am from NY, and come here traditionally every year I come to Asheville. The attention to detail is flawless, the selection of fine and rare liquors is unmatched. The staff is intelligent and patient. Definitely a classy place to spend a casual afternoon, or take your friends for a pre or post meal drink on the weekend. A high recommendation.
The most creative, delicious food and cocktails in Asheville. Everything was beautiful. The food is grown locally. Graham House is a master chef. I highly recommend the stuffed blossoms, seared cabbage, chicken skins, steak, and the almond cake for dessert.
No trip to Asheville is complete without a stop by Sovereign Remedies. Just watching their bartenders preparing a drink is entertaining in itself. But the originality and creativity they put into the drinks on the menu is amazing. They will also invent on the fly based on your preferences. Absolutely love this place!
