Re: Shady Business Practices – Since I only use this account to pay the rent, I only really used the ATM here. But now I'm going to completely sever my relationship with Sovereign because it has only recently come to my attention that my account was changed from a free classic checking account and must now have a $500 minimum balance at all times. Because of that I was charged a $5.00 fee which then produced a $35.00 overdraft fee. A customer service representative I called and spoke to about the matter was dismissive of me.... read more
