My father was recently admitted to Sovah Hospital in Martinsville. He was in there for 11 days. With exception to one CNA named Jacob who dad loved because he actually tended to him and maybe one or two other nurses that knew what their job was and took their oath and commitment seriously....the care here was horrible. My dad was finally discharged to a rehab facility, upon discharge the rehab discovered he had two or three bed sores on his back and one on his foot from where the hospital neglected trying to help him move... read more
I could I would a negative 0 this is the worse I mean the Worse hospital is America . I don't even know why they changed the name it's still same as was when it was Martinsville Memorial Hospital. My mother spent 2 months in that Hell hole for serious conditions for what help I tried to help my dad understand that is Not at any kind way suitable for anyone or anything. This has been the worst hospital I have ever been to. We came in the ER at 9:30pm and my boyfriend was vomiting, diarrhea, headache, stomach cramps and didn’t get fluid until I asked for it. Then they placed an X-ray order at 10:30pm and was not taken to do the X-ray until 1:30am...now they have come back and want to do a CT Scan and it’s 2:00 am... Not sure when we will get to leave and some people have to work In the morning. 🤨
