Everyone in the cath lab were excellent. Made me feel completely at ease with my experience. They all were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, kind, and considerate. I was informed every step what was going to happen next. Post procedure, they took time to answer my questions. I received a follow-up call from Robin, RN. She not only was interested in my opinion of the Care I received, she contacted my doctor with several questions I had and made sure I had my follow-up appointment scheduled. DO NOT BRING YOUR RELATIVES HERE!!! This hospital is BEYOND HORRIBLE. Incompetent staff, terrible security, and EXTREMELY unreliable. We just witnessed a man having an asthma attack with no inhaler and he was not being helped whatsoever. The hospital first called security over and asked if he had checked in before checking to see if they could get him stable!!!! TERRIBLE ALL AROUND there was a man who was in blue scrubs who did nothing to help the patient instead he walked over to security and then nonchalantly observed the ... read more
My stay here was pleasant even though I was having surgery. The doctor Philip Zapanta is phenomenal and the nursing staff exceptional. Everything and everyone was great EXCEPT the young lady from food services. She entered my room with my breakfast and I said good morning,her response hey. She looked at my bedside table turned around and slammed my breakfast tray on the sink at the foot of the bed yelled to a nurse SHE'S GOT STUFF ON HER TABLE and walked out. I went to the hospital at 630 and was waiting in the ER for at least 6 hours before being seen. I usually don't leave negative reviews, but that's how you know the service there is HORRIBLE. It's under new management and still horrible. It was a cool doctor from Brooklyn and a cool nurse there but some of the others from the receptionist with the locs and some of the nurses are pretty rude. Do better!
