It was ok enough living there for the years I did, but I had a really big mold problem in my bathroom. Mold is grown in the walls and the frame which was old and mostly wood. I have been renting from the Souza brother for a year now. They are very good people to rent from.
Ive been renting from the Souza brothers for 3 years. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. The apartment was in great shape when I moved in, and if I had any issues with maintenance, they were right on top of it. They maintain the property well, and this past winter with snow removal, they were rock stars! Also, they are just pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend renting from them.
For nine years, Ive been renting from Souza and Sons and before that one of my sisters rented from them for many years. In my opinion, they are the best landlords in Hartford. All of their buildings are very clean and well - maintained. The lawns, shrubbery, sidewalks and parking areas are always immaculate and in the snowy winter weather, their properties are quickly and effectively - shoveled and cleared. I have lived in 2 apartments owned by the company in the last 3 years. I find the rent to be very economical. I only pay \$420 for rent which is amazing. Heat, Hot water, Gas, and Electric are included in the rent. I live in a small efficency. I have seen apartments my size, without the utilities incl, and in the area, go for anywhere between \$485 and \$525.
