This company has been working on a bridge project adjacent to my property for several months. So far, they wrecked a 10,000 year old rock and fossil formation on my property by ramming an I-beam through it. Two weeks later, they cut through the roots of a 300 year old oak tree, also on my property, against the rules set by SLO County. In addition to other actions, I plan to petition SLO County to never again hire Souza Construction.
Work crew was very rude and unprofessional. While leaving Ramada Row I could only see work lights by theatre drive so I opted to go toward main street to access freeway . Once I turned out there was a flagger a quarter of a mile up the way in the road with no work lights, no flashlight , nothing to see him on this very dark road nor was there any signage indicating the road was down to one lane . This company is loud, they throw cigarette butts everywhere, they park in fire lanes and double park. Generally inconsiderate of other humans around them.
