5/1/2026 Update: Imagine finally receiving a response from Mr. Southworth who manages to make social media postings his full time job as of late with excuses to cover up him dodging my communications for three weeks. Then subtracts $10,000.00 from refund due to me on top of what he received for the 1 successful claim. Update: It is so disheartening to write this update. Imagine entrusting your employment case to a professional and paying every single invoice and lose 1.5 of 2 cases and lose an appeal. Apparently ChatGPT is replacing human created documents with this firm as every case citation used misses the mark. Received notice of that we loss the appeal and immediately contacted Shaun, as of today no response. Initially, I was encouraged by the compassion and understanding shown by the first attorney I spoke with. She even expressed a commitment to supporting Black women in the workplace, which gave me a sense of hope and trust. Hiring Southworth PC was the biggest mistake of my life. I had a very strong case as I was employed by my federal agency for 33 years with a meticulous record and many awards. Shaun Southworth, although on initial contact seems nice, is actually a very nasty and arrogant man. He takes your money in increments of $5,000 and uses it up rapidly .. and I mean rapidly with no visible result …until your funds run out then puts you on a payment plan and assigns your case to Georgia Lawrence.
