RecommendedMy family and I just ate there and I was very happy with the service and food. We were all happy with everything we got. My girls has a pizza and loved it. I had the steak and shrimp and the steak was very tender. They have a nice family atmosphere and was very friendly. The parking lot was full and we only waiting 10 minutes to have our family of 6 seated. Thank you!
What's up with the wait to be seated? I came here with my family and was told by the hostess that we'd need to wait 20 minutes. After our wait (more than 20) we were led into the restaurant where not even a third of the tables were seated with plenty of staff leaning around. I have a feeling they hoped the wait would deter us from eating there... I did not feel welcome AT ALL. This was on a Tuesday night, btw.
We could not decide where to go for some good fish tonight, so we decided to try Southwoods. Wow!! it was fantastic. Local's from Charlevoix, we will be back for sure!!
Had breakfast at lunch time and a Bloody Mary. Good food and service. We are not from Petoskey. We usually have lunch at Southwoods when in town.
