I have been a resident on this property since Sept 2018, it's a nice place to live very quiet is what attracted me to this place. I put in a work order on 6/29/2026 for my air to be fixed it's 80-85 degrees in my apartment here it is 7/3/2026 still no air they only have one person that works on air on this property. So now my request is being ignore time and time again. Long read but BE CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH SOUTHWIND LAKES! I don’t trust anyone in that office. My lease was up October 24th. The leasing office told me to pay a pro-rated amount for the month of October for that last month since my lease ended before the month was out. I did just that. I turned in my keys on the 24th of October and was told I had no remaining balances on my account. ( I have never been late or short on my rent) I received my security deposit a few weeks after. Southwind Lakes is a great place to live. Shon and team are great. My only complaint is that rent increases every year, but it’s still below the average for the area.

I have lived in Southwind Lakes for the last 4 years and I’ve enjoyed it. My maintenance requests are quickly met when needed and Im always satisfied. Chun has been the best apartment manager I have had. Her and Destiny were in Office when I applied they were Great with assisting me through it, they were and still are Very Good at their Jobs!
