I was up there for jaw pain and a hurt ankle from a fall but the ER had me sit there for 7 hours and did nothing for me and just sent me back home so I do not refer anyone to go there

Nice place but being over run by way too many people that need help. The help is ok but they have a ton of customers looking for help. Go to Rutland this place has the worst Doctors in the area.

Great experience with emergency room!! Quick check in, nurses were knowledgeable and Dr Lefebvre was very thorough explaining what could be going on. Quickly determined a kidney stone and provided info on how to deal with it. We were traveling out of town and randomly chose this hospital since it was closest to our campground. So glad we did!!

Saturday may 22, 2026 went to emergency room shortness of breath pain in my chest. I have pleural effusion. The emergency room dayshift and do tor were superb. I had to have fluid drawn off my lungs. They ran numerous test on me and good thing they did.They got my very serious medical issues under control. The doctors and nurses at the ER OF SWVMC are second to none. Ronald Elwell
