Before deciding to have my cataract surgery, I did my due diligence and read as many reviews as possible. All reviews regarding Dr. Peterson and staff were good. The only negative reviews I recall reading were directed towards the billing department. Several patients complained of receiving bills after their insurance had been billed for the procedures. I have been with Dr.Singh for 10 years. He removed my cataract's and has treated me for my dry eyes. I feel like I get the kind of treatment Dr. Singh would give his parents. He is a kind and thorough Dr. and willing to spend time with you to explain procedures. I have referred Dr. Singh to several of my friends.
They gave me an 8am appointment. Most appts they want you there a little early for checking in. NOT THIS PLACE. I got there 15 min. early. Door was locked. Then a lady came and said they are not open until 8:00. So I guess I was suppose to wait outside until 8:00? She told me I could wait in my car. WTF why not let me sit inside? If this is your practice then don't make appts at 8:00. Make them at 8:15. Needless to say that pissed me off so I went to my car alright and left. I'll go somewhere else for my eye surgery. Do not trust this company. They forced me to pay $87 upfront before they would do my eye exam even though my co-pay was only $10. Even though they acknowledge they made a mistake and promised me a refund it has been 1 month still no refund.
This was a horrible experience for me. Totally disorganized as well as an almost zero ability to communicate. I would urge going elsewhere.
Dr and surgery was fine , but the office people haven't a clue as to what their doing. They seem to think that they can jerk you around all they want and you have to comply. The schedule appointments then on that day they call and ask if you can come in at a different time, ot htye give you 3 diffrent time from different people on the same day, one sats come in a 8 am another say its for 1215 pm yet another says its 120 pm geesh how do you work with that. I counld go on and on on how meshed up these office people are
Staff is friendly. Dr Phister MD has an Attitude when he does an upsell to a more expensive lens package. I am still waiting for the scheduler to call from two weeks ago. I walked out of the office without knowing what a standard lens was. No more attempt has been made to contact me.

Two years of careless Doctors that almost stole my vision because of the lack of care an and interest. Save your eyes and move on there are Doctors in Arizona who really take a interest and It is not all based on pushing patients through for a DOLLAR
