Got a geothermal HVAC installed a few years ago; they did a decent job (but somehow messed up the ductwork so the air is no longer evenly distributed throughout the house). The real issue is that they will not service the project after the fact. I called many times and they are slow to respond; after agreeing to schedule a visit, they just stopped returning messages. It seems they are not interested in traveling more than 20 miles for service calls.
Brian helped us out... Super professional and knowledgeable.!! We live in Fredericksburg and it's not super easy to get somebody over to look at a geothermal heating and cooling system. They installed a communicating thermostat for my brand new climate Master tranquility 22 that another vendor installed but failed to tell me about any of the features that would be unaccessible without a communicating thermostat.
