HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I will never come to this hospital again!! My daughter was having abdomen pain and her left upper abdomen was very swollen, so we came to the Er . I could not go in with her because she’s 18( COVID). But know for a fact that others have been let in with adult children. So she goes back, I call her and she says they’ve taken blood but no ultrasound because no one is on call on the weekend!! The infusion clinic is great.
Your lack in helping people has caused me more damage than my original injury. Need to be sued.
Southwest Health System absolutely does not know how to treat patients, how to bill patients correctly, how to administer a safe IV before an MRI, or how to ensure that submissions to insurance or to co-pay programs are done correctly. I am disgusted with the service that I have received at this hospital and urge anyone going there to head to Durango, Montrose, or Grand Junction for appropriate care.
The ER and Walk-in clinics are both great. The Primary Care Clinic did not bother to provide continuity of care when one doctor recently left, and left hundreds of people without anyone to authorize necessary prescriptions. That's unacceptable and unconscionable.
I suggest if you want to make a complaint call DORA. I was with Dr. Smith ( who is awesome) since I was pregnant with my 10 year old daughter. after she left they stripped me of a doctor and put me with a nurse practitioner, Melissa Churchill, who recently tried to kill a family member by not refilling his insulin. Whe visivisited Mesa Verde and my mother hurt herself on a hike. We took her to the hospital in Cortez. She would have been given better treatment at a veterinary clinic. They did very little for her before sending her home. When we got back to Arvada she went to her doctor. They sent her to Saint Anthony's and she had emergency surgery. Southwest Memorial Hispital should ve shut down.
