Been a dozen times, never had a bad experience or a bad meal. Always exceptional. My favorite is the Jonathan's Fiery Scramble with barbacoa and sopapilla. They also have the best onion rings in town IMO. AND, the only place in town you can get Bitt's cold press coffee by the bottle.

Most of the food I've had at Southwest diner has been great and the service is good. A few of the menu items I did not like I chalk it up to personal preference but one item in particular was just plain bad- the french fries. Do not order the french fries, they are pretty horrible. I struggled with whether or not this one thing was worth a whole star but I feel certain diner staples such as french fries shouldn't be an afterthought if Diner is in the name. I recommend everything else.
Love the food and the atmosphere!! Every time we stop in we've been pleased with both the food and the service!
Bring back the tater tots and it will be a 5. Please!
Great Food. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Long wait time, but that's because it's good.
Probably my favorite place to eat in St. Louis. Get excited to take new people because it never fails to live up to my praise.

Always a great choice for breakfast- very worth it, even if you have to wait!! Great Bloody Mary's, too!!
