Where do I even start with how much this place sucks for rehab. They use a “helping hand” process where you basically write your peers up for everything they do wrong, down to something as small as not asking to be excused from the dinner table. Give that power to a group of girls, and it turns in to a weapon, which ultimately could increase your stay in the end. The staff is inexplicably rude, so expect to get treated like some dumb junky. This place saved my life! this was my first attempt at treatment and it was amazing , they are strict, and thats what I needed. They dig much deeper, and they go into your trauma, I would pick this place 100 times over and over again if needed to go! They have the most amazing staff, they are there to have the best intention for you and your well being! It's such a safe place, you can talk and they will listen and wont judge you! Thank you for being there when I needed the help you truly saved my life.

I have actively tried to recover from addiction for more than 10 years. Southwest Counseling was my 7th attempt at treatment. I failed to get what I needed to recover from 6 previous treatment centers across the country. Countless thousands of dollars were spent in an attempt to relieve my suffering from Alcoholism. I came to south west counseling for impatient treatment. I was told they have a women's house where I can also have my children there, only to be told that my children were to old to be able to be there with me. I get that there has to be strict rules, it's a rehab center, I get that. But I think what bothered my the most was that 90 percent of the people in there are on medication that they we're not on prior to being there, or they are put on suboxone for long periods of time,, if you haven't researched the side effects of... read more
