RecommendedClose to my house, hours are good opening at 10 as compared to 11 am which is a big deal when u have a day of riding planned! Also have everything u need! My new go to bike shop.
Dan and his crew have great service and attention to detail.
Very friendly and super knowledgeable about mountain bike racing.
You will not find a more skilled bike mechanic than Dan. He knows his trade and can engineer creative solutions for repairing non-coventional bikes. His labor rates are low, especially given his level of expertise.
If you live close to Multnomah Village, you might want to try Southwest Bicycle for bike repairs. I just had an excellent overhaul done by them on my old Bridgestone steel-frame road bike. The shifting is smoother than when I had an overhaul done 18 months ago at a bigger shop. And the bike is cleaner than it has been in years. Southwest Bicycle is a small shop and you'll have to leave your bike longer with them to get the work done than at bigger shops in town, but their work is excellent and pricing very fair.
Brought in my son's bike we got here last Christmas - had a broken pedal. They replaced both pedals and made some additional adjustments with a very quick turn around time. Thought I would pay something for their labor but not at all. Thank you!
