Long time A list, card and companion pass holder. What used to enjoy is now regular terrible experience. Boarding is a disaster thanks to the new baggage policy because people try to cram everything onto a carry on when previously would have checked that back. If you are A list and card holder you get screwed out of a checked bag and to top it off just had to spend the night in the airport because Southwest claims had to cancel due to weather when absolutely no weather. HORRIBLE AIRLINE FLY ANOTHER CARRIER
I booked a hotel through sw, they couldnt get me there while also dealing with a do not travel advisory...then refused to refund me! BAD BUSINESS DO NOT BOOK YOUR HOTEL THROUGH SW! THEY WONT OWN YOUR RESERVATION AND WHO THEY SUB IT WITH WONT SPEAK TO YOU!
I absolutely love that Southwest did not listen to their customers and now they're getting screwed by customers putting all their stuff into larger overhead bins at the front and making it so the customers who paid for extra legroom can't put their stuff anywhere but in the back into smaller bins. Looks to me like Southwest put zero thought into this before they implemented it. I recently flew to San Antonio I got to the airport 2 hours early. The flight was delayed twice. Since I had been waiting for so long me and a friend decided to get something to eat. Because we had another hour or so we thought. The plane ended up taking off before the notification of the second delay.
