Thank you for the great experience. We were a little bit nervous renting a storage unit because we have never done it before. This was perfect! We rented a unit in February and the ladies were so helpful, very friendly and explained all of the guidelines very clearly. Our unit was clean and dry; the property always was clean and felt very secure. I would recommend Southway Mini Storage to my family and friends 100%.

Had rented a unit, went in 13 days before the due date to vacate it, they require 10 days notice in writing. Let them know that unit was empty, lock off, and signed the paper stating as such. A week later, I get a letter in the mail stating that I forfeited the security deposit because I didn't give notice, and left trash in the unit, with pics attached of the supposed trash. I didn't leave any trash, and no mention of a security deposit when I closed the unit in person! Keep your 25 bucks, earned it by staging a dirty unit.... read more

Make sure you read all the fine print because they will quote it to you later. Rented a unit for a month and lost track of time. Went in and paid for the extra month. They then locked me out of the unit for several days waiting for the check to clear. By the way they don't take cash. Without saying anything about this when i paid. Don't try to use the truck either. The rules are very restrictive.
