This is by far the best financial institution I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I recently moved here from Bushnell and they're great too. Kim here in Dade City remembered me by name the second time I walked in the door to the lobby. South State has called me on my birthday every year since I have been with them every year to wish me a happy birthday and once, they even bailed me out of jail. My dad has an account with my name on it. I've been depositing his checks for him for over a year same teller at the drive through every time. Today it's taking longer, my phone rings and it's Southstate I answer and they hang up. I push the teller button at the drive thru and ask did someone try to call me.
