I wouldn't trust anyone else. Southside is amazing. Not only is the art here great the artist are some of the nicest I've met. You are always kindly greeted when you walk in and the environment is very calming. I've had two different artist do my work and couldn't be happier with the results. I recently moved out of state but am setting up an appointment to get new work done when I come home because there is no way I would go anywhere else. Southside is the place to go.
Go here first and save yourself the headaches! Excellent work! This is simply the absolute best tattoo shop in town. I made the mistake of going elsewhere and had to end up here eventually to have them fix what others had done, which was total crap. Chris Gunn is the best. His colors are amazing and he is a nice guy and easy to work with. It took about 4-6 weeks to get an appointment, but it was worth the wait. No attitudes int his shop, which was a refreshing change. Mike Norris is super good too.
Great artists I have seen some very nice work done from this studio. They have great artists and awesome colors. I have seen artwork done by them that was 5 years old still looked brand new. I have heard nothing but good things and plan on checking them out for my own work.
Southside Tattoo Austin tattoo artists are the cream of the crop! Chris Gunn is a great artist. Just finished a piece on my wrist and it is simply beautiful. What a nice guy and worth the 3 week wait to get what I wanted. This is the only tattoo studio out of the 3 we went to that gave us the time of day when we entered. Nice folks, and can't beat the location.
