Very impressed with this office from their front desk psr to dental assistant to the dentist herself! Our family dentist referred my kids to a peds dentist for some treatment. I searched Google and called this office based on location and reviews. April answered the phone and was very pleasant and helpful. She verified they were in-network with our insurance and could see us same-day. She verified our insurance over the phone and sent the new patient paperwork via text, which was easy to fill out. Lovely dental practice. Very kid friendly with the educational video games in the waiting area along with kid movie on a flat screen and then each room is painted with a kid movie mural and flat screen above the patient with kid movie playing. The dental assistant is so good with my kids/babies. One of the best pediatric dental practices I’ve ever been to, and I’ve gone through a few to find just the right one, so that my kids love going to the dentist and aren’t afraid to go.
Came in for a second opinion on what to do about my 5 year old's cavity that had been previously treated with spf , my son is extremely anxious when it comes to the dentist office.Today was our first visit with a dentist and staff that took time and effort to make my son feel comfortable and safe. I was able to accompany him in the back however he did do the X-rays solo. The dentist explained the X-rays to us and we made a decision about his dental care plan. I am so grateful to have found Southside Smiles Dentistry.
Very impressed by the Dentist at Southside Smiles and how my 3 year old's fillings/cap were performed. I was nervous it would be a painful and stressful experience for my child who has extreme anxiety about brushing her teeth. My daughter did AMAZING all because of how competent and caring this office is. Getting fillings and a crown was actually enjoyable for my toddler. I highly recommend taking your child here for care! Same up my 7 year old!
Dr. Sheffield is seriously THE BEST! She is soo patient and gentle with my girls. We have been going here for years but today we had to do two extractions. I could not have asked for a better experience. It went so well that my daughter had no idea what happened until after when we told her! Now she's pretending to be a dentist. That says it all. Thank you Dr. Sheffield and staff!
