What a great business, they serviced our car at short notice to a log book standard. The car was washed and ready quickly as we were passing through Geraldton. I can't speak highly enough of the professionalism of this business. In addition to the car service, they drop me and picked me up at a location of my choosing. Personal service that sets the standard for others to follow. If you are travelling or a local I highly recommend this business. Congratulations guys.
Had an overnight stay in Geraldton, Southside Mechanical were recommended to me, got my oil change done, what a fabulous place, service was terrific! Reminded me of my own mechanic back home! Well done crew, keep up the fantastic service!
Passing through Geraldton and needed a service so I phoned Southside Mechanical. The person I spoke with was very helpful as were the others who helped me when I dropped the car off. They were able to fit me in at a time to suite me, and drove me back to the caravan park. They finished the service within the time frame they allocated and even washed my car. Many thanks guys. PS the price was fair and comparable to other services I've had. Yes I'd use them again.

Im updating my comment a year later. After crossing to the east coast and still having the problem (came back 2k later), we saw a few mechanic, showing them the invoice from this garage. Turns out work hasn’t been done properly, and they didn’t fix the problem at all. Plus the 150$/h when I know apprentices worked on our car pissed me off. Feels like we got scammed because we are backpackers to be honest. I wouldn’t recommend to go to big mechanics like theses guys, prefer a small workshop where you can explain your problem ... read more
