New to Virginia and this was my first appointment with them...they were fabulous! Very impressed with the handling of my horses (and donkey) and the explanations of everything they were doing.
Our poor guy had a deep laceration on his leg that was getting infected. Just had the pleasure of meeting the doctors of Southside Equine Services. They were extremely professional and polite. Took time to make Bandit feel at ease. And also was so very thorough at explaining everything to us. Thank you very much for fixing our boy up.
I have been client of Southside Equine Services for years and they have been great. Whenever I have called about a problem they are quick to answer. When I have had emergency they were quick to come help. Dr. Scarrow and Dr. Rossner are super and have helped me care for my three miniature horses. Dr. Scarrow and Dr. Rossner are great! Have had a couple horse emergencies over the past few months, and they quickly came to the rescue! Great communication, very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!!!
After two other vets and 3 months of worry about my Arabian I found south side on the internet. I could not be more pleased!! Dr. Scarrow got within a foot of my horse and said he has an infected tooth!! Unbelievable! My poor horse lost 150 lbs and I was beginning to lose hope. Dr. Scarrow proceeded to pull the tooth cleaned him out gave him pain med and antibiotics. Dr. Scarrow is very knowledgeable & truly loves his profession. I would recommend him to all horse owners in the Southside area of Va. as well as our North Carolina neighbors.
