Easy five stars: great people, great classes, great vibes
Great technique, sparring and vibes. I dropped in for the nogi class and felt right at home. I would highly recommend the academy to anyone looking to get fit and challenge themselves with an awesome martial art.
I want to thank the entire Southside Jiu-Jitsu team, especially coaches Enrique, Nik, and Graydon. They are very kind people and share their knowledge in a friendly and safe manner, an environment that is replicated by everyone on the mat. My son and I have been training jiu-jitsu since 2021 in Chile with Rodrigo Bravo and have been able to train at other academies in Chile and Brazil. 1. Incredible nice people. 2. Top-tier instructional. 3. Hard rolls during open mat. Enrique the head coach was extremely kind and he created that culture. Everyone approached me with handshakes and introductions. I forgot a water bottle and everyone was offering water to me with me asking or even saying I forgot a water bottle. Dropped in to the gym while in town travelling for work and had a great experience. All the training partners were very welcoming and Professor Enrique ran an excellent class. Had some very competitive rounds as well! Highly recommend for anyone in the area. OSS!
