I was very disappointed in the care/communication regarding Fergie and his visit today. When he was dropped off consent and concerns were given to/by the vet tech, never did the veterinarian (Dr Laura) come and talk. When Fergie was picked up by me, I had many questions and still did not meet the vet, answers were given by the vet tech again. For a visit that cost 390$. RecommendedFriendly, knowledgeable staff, clean roomy facility and Dr Laura is personable and easy to get along with. All of our pets have been loved on and well cared for when boarding, grooming or receiving treatments. Highly recommend Southport Animal Hospital!

Dr. Williams always took the time and consideration to answer my questions about my dog's well-being, physically and emotionally. She genuinely cared about my dog and my dog loved visiting with her. The staff has always been very friendly and professional towards me. But never did I expect this facility, staff or Dr. to go above and beyond. Our first visit to Southport with our newly adopted Maisy. Dr Williams and the staff were friendly, professional and down to earth. I was impressed with how Dr. Williams got on the floor to engage Maisy. Our first visit was free and the vaccines were very reasonably priced. It wasn't a fancy smancy place but full of puppy love. We were very pleased !
Just moved to the area and needed a vet. Southport was recommended and I was very happy with our visit! Very friendly staff who made my puppy and I feel very comfortable. Thank you and we will be back!
We LOVE Dr Laura. We were clients of Dr Davenport when Dr Laura took over. She's been nothing but wonderful and caring with all our dogs and especially compassionate when we had to put one down a few years ago. She's a goofy dog lover which makes her a great vet in my books!
