Southport Boat Rentals and Southport Water Tours are the Only Boat Rental and Tour Boat Company in the historic Old Southport Yacht Basin. Our Tour boat can seat up to 28 passengers with bathroom onboard and we provide a fleet of Carolina Skiffs to rent for the Day, or even longer. No hassle, no clean up, just fun. Join us for a Tour or Rent a Boat to explore the waterways and see a part of the area that you can only access by Water.

RecommendedGreat experience with Eli and Tyler. They are a wonderful team. Very knowledgeable about local history and geography. The Atlantic bottle nose dolphin pods and brown pelicans put in a great show us as well. If you’ve only seen the backwaters from the bridges you are truly missing out. We are surrounded by a stunning and unique landscape and SBR can put you right in the middle of it. Thanks Bobbo’ for bring the experience to Southport.

My Mom and I went on a Sunset Tour last year and Capt. Eli was wonderful, knowledgable, and it was an all-around great tour. This year, I brought my Mother-in-law down with me and my Mom joined us on the limited narration tour at 5pm and Capt. Robert was fabulous and knowledgable as well and my Mom, who has lived here 36 years, learned things about our Hometown that she never knew. And we saw Dolphins!! Pleasant workers and very informative, safety, comfort, on time departure and overall good time!
We took a tour last year and came back this year. Eli and Matt are awesome guys - very cordial and informative - really enjoyed learning so much about the area and the addition of a pool of dolphins just made our day!! We will be back - it's a must do on our vacation list!!
